Good Sport’s COVID-19 Rental Measures

All rental equipment will be sterilized for a few days once returned. After this interval, the equipment will be available to rent again.

Ski and snowboard boots are thoroughly dried in a dryer and then deodorized and sterilized.

A full set of brand-new accessories (gloves, goggles and beanie hat) will be available. After usage, please take these accessories with you.

Equipment Rental Operation

  • Standard/Deluxe Rental: Dec 1 – March 31
  • High-grade Rental: Dec 20 – March 31
  • Group Discount: Dec 1 - March 31

Online booking (3 days prior to the start of rental period (JST))

For courier service delivery, high-grade ski, deluxe ski and group discount plans, the cut off date for online booking is five days prior to start of rental period (Japan Standard Time).

  • You CANNOT get any discount by phone booking.

  • We accept lump-sum payment only.
  • Please settle your payment within 2 days after completion of booking. Your booking will be canceled if payment is not completed by the due date.
    **Please settle payment immediately if your travel is within 2 days.

Change of equipment after starting rental service

  • Niseko, Sapporo and Furano area
    If we have the equipment available, you can change. A 2,000JPY fee will be charged for each exchange.
  • Courier Delivery Service
    No changes accepted.

Extension of rental period after starting rental service

Extension fees will be charged accordingly.
(There is no discount on extention fees.)

Cancellations After Start of Rental Period

Cancellations after the start of your rental period will not be accepted. Requests to shorten the rental end date will also not be accepted once your rental period starts.
However, in the case of injury incurred, refunds will apply for any remaining rental period dates two days after notification received.
(Example: Rental period 1st to 7th. Injury incurred and reported to us on the 3rd. Refund will be given for the remaining dates 5th to 7th.)

Our ski equipment is maintained at the highest standard, and is checked before the start of each rental period. If the equipment is damaged during rental period, the following charges will apply:

  • Skis and snowboard -- 20,000yen
  • High-grade skis -- 100,000yen
  • Deluxe skis and snowboard -- 50,000yen
  • Boots -- 20,000yen
  • Bindings -- 10,000yen
  • Poles -- 3,000yen
  • Binding parts for snowboards (belts,ratchets) -- 1,000yen
  • Snow suit lost -- 30,000yen, damaged -- 10,000yen
  • Helmet -- 20,000yen
